PULP/PAPER + FRUIT/VEGETABLE PROCESSING EU100

This product is designed to deal with spent process waters arising from the manufacture of pulp and paper and the processing of fruit and vegetables. These industries produce large volumes of water with hugely varying strengths and particularly in the latter case, on an hourly basis.

In addition these industries use large quantities of biocide and which can decimate treatment plant biomass.

EU100 has been designed with these difficult conditions in mind. The microbial mix includes a selection of Group 1 non pathogenic microorganisms selected for their ability to degrade the pollutants contained in these waste waters under very difficult conditions.

EU100 is designed to improve the performance of such systems in the following ways:-

  • It establishes and maintains a resistant biomass that is able to degrade these difficult and varying wastes.
  • It produces sludge flocs with superior settling characteristics that assist hydraulically stressed systems and reduces the use of sludge treatment chemicals.
  • It increases BOD and COD removal efficiency, thus assisting organically overloaded plant.
  • It prevents the blocking, ponding and possible collapse of filter-bed media.

Form: Free flowing granular powder.
Colour: Buff to Brown.
Specific Gravity: 0.5 to 0.7
Contents: Selected and adapted microorganisms and surface tension depressants on a soya carrier.

When used as directed EU100 is completely safe. It is harmless to people, clothing and the environment, and completely biodegradable.

PACKAGING - EU100 is packed in either 10kg bulk (no pouches) or 250 gram packed into water soluble pouches (40 per bucket).
