EU10Start up is designed to achieve the rapid establishment/re establishment of biomass in activated sludge systems and biological filters and their variants receiving these types of waste water.
EU10Start up is a formulation of Group 1 naturally occurring and appropriate non-pathogenic bacteria in very high concentrations. These are selected for their superior floc forming characteristics and their ability to readily degrade the substrates found in these waste waters.
EU10Start up is very simple to use:
- It is supplied in 250gram water soluble pouches which are simply dropped into the aeration tank or dosing chamber serving a biological filter.
- It is added to the biological section of the treatment system at a rate of 20grams per m 3 treatment capacity e.g. 1000 m 3 aeration tank would require 20kg’s product. The required quantity is added over 5 days to avoid potential mechanical problems during commissioning which might otherwise detrimentally effect the biological process.
- It rapidly establishes and maintains a biomass that is able to degrade these often high grease content wastes.
- It quickly brings effluent BOD and COD to the required levels.
- It produces sludge flocs with superior settling characteristics.

Specific Gravity: 0.5 to 0.7
Contents: Selected micro-organisms and surface tension depressants on a soya carrier.
When used as directed EU10Start up is completely safe. It is harmless to people, clothing and the environment, and completely biodegradable.
PACKAGING - EU10Start up is packed in either 10kg bulk (no pouches) or 250gram packed into water-soluble pouches (40 per bucket).
